
Kohler Fitness Center Facility Overview
Updated in Fall 2024 through the generous support of the Kohler School Foundation and in collaboration with Kohler Physical Education staff, this multipurpose fitness center is designed to promote health and wellness for students, staff, and community members of all fitness levels and backgrounds. The facility offers a safe, welcoming environment for a wide range of physical activities.

Fitness Center Summer Policies
Thank you for your interest in using the Kohler School District community fitness center. Please read the information below if you plan on using the fitness center during the summer.
Age Requirements
- Students 6th grade and up can be in the fitness center with the supervisor.
- Students 5th grade and under need to be with a parent during community hours and must be with the adult at all times and actively supervised by the adult during that time.
Supervision
The fitness center will be staffed during the hours of operation for students.
Fee
Free for community, student, and staff use.
Waiver Form
You will be required to fill out a waiver form. Please complete before use of the fitness center.

- Paper copies will also be available onsite.
Hours of Operation
Summer Dates
The summer fitness center will be open on June 16th and close on August 22nd. Times and dates are subject to change based on worker availability and will be communicated out via social media if any changes occur.
*The fitness center will be closed July 3rd and 4th.

Where To Enter
Please enter and exit through Door #1 by the Kohler High School Event Lobby. The school is not open for use and disciplinary action will be take if not followed.
Guidelines + General Rules
Students and community members are only allowed in the fitness center. The gym and the rest of the school is not open to the general public during this time.
Put weights back in their correct spots
Make sure all bars are unloaded when you are finished
Roll benches back into racks
One bar per rack
Please do not put weights on the bench pads
Use bumpers if you are doing floor lifts
Wipe down soft surfaces after use with spray bottle and blue towels
Please use the provided clips
Listen to the supervisor and ask for help if needed
No inappropriate play
Use equipment for its intended purpose/use
No food, open container drinks, no gum
Proper athletic attire is recommended - must have shoes
Please do not remove equipment from the space
Take pride in the space and clean up after yourself
Failure to follow any of these rules may result in a permanent ban from the summer fitness center.
