(External Link Kohler Villager Article)

Kohler High School scored 92.0 on the state school report card--the highest in the state for public schools! The State of Wisconsin is implementing a new accountability system for public schools. The new accountability system:

  • increases the focus on student achievement and sets high expectations for all students
  • emphasizes the need to ensure students are career and college ready
  • provides descriptive information about school performance using a report card process

The report card scores are based upon:

4 Priority areas:

  • Student achievement in math and reading
  • Student growth in math and reading
  • Closing gaps in math and reading
  • On-track and Postsecondary readiness in math, reading, and ACT participation and performance

3 Student engagement indicators:

  • Test preparation rate
  • Absenteeism rate
  • Dropout rate

Congratulations to the students, families, staff, and community for this achievement!
