Ebben Field Improvement Project

Ebben Field Improvement Project Phase II

The vision for Ebben Field is to provide an athletic facility which will support Kohler Schools' mission " to inspire inquiry, engage hearts, minds and bodies, and provide supports to ensure all students can achieve success". Equally important, are the benefits that these improvements will bring to the Village of Kohler Recreation Department programs which serve all Village residents and comprise nearly 50% of current Ebben Field facilities utilization.

In 2008, the Ebben Field improvement project began with a generous donation from the Kohler Company whose contribution brought new stadium seating, field lights, long jump and high jump pits, and 60% completion of track resurfacing. The School District of Kohler is now entering Phase II of the Ebben Field improvement project. $525,000 of improvements are planned for Phase II, which includes renovation of the concession area and restrooms, renovation of the soccer complex and installation of field lighting, completion of the track resurfacing with a state-of-the-art rubberized surface, reconfiguration of the baseball diamonds, shot put and discus areas, and new scoreboards.

As of October, 2013, approximately $265,000  has already been pledged which has allowed work to begin on the new concession area and restrooms. The Ebben Field Improvement Project Committee continues to seek corporate donors, foundations, individuals and families who support the future vision for Ebben Field and wish to contribute to its success.
