This is an “M” Week
1. All 7th and 8th grade girls who are interested in playing volleyball this year: There will be an informational meeting next Monday, Feb. 6th, after school in the Village Gym. Please attend if you plan on playing or see Mrs. Luedtke if you cannot make it. There will be an open gym to follow the short meeting, so please bring gym clothes along. Open gym will end at 5 p.m.
2. KHS Trap Team: For the last two years, Kohler has participated in the Sheboygan County HS Trap league. This league is open to anyone from Gr. 7-12. The league promotes safe handling of firearms, sportsmanship, and competitive trap shooting. Open to all levels of shooters, I ask that anyone wishing to participate has successfully completed Hunters Safety. If interested, please contact Chuck Pfrang at 920-627-7041 or e-mail him at cpfrang@att.net
3. Chess Club will meet today from 3:30-3:45 on Friday, in the Library. The Chess Tournament will take place on Saturday, Feb. 11.
4. Our Pennies for Patients drive has started. Students are asked to bring pennies to school for a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Wisconsin. Pennies should be brought to your child’s classroom. Pennies add to the classroom total, while other coins subtract from the total in a class’s box (students should put other coins in their competitor’s boxes). Students will receive a paper penny for each dollar they contribute.
5. On Friday, Feb. 10, there will be a Middle School Dance from 6-9 p.m. Any student wishing to bring a guest from another school district must pick up aGuestPass beforehand. This is a semi-formal dance and participants should dress appropriately – no shorts or t-shirts.
