KSD Information/Technology Vision Statement
For students to achieve a competitive edge in the “Information Age”, the School District of Kohler must adapt to a rapidly changing technological and media driven environment and to provide our future leaders with the tools and resources to learn and grow.
KSD Information/Technology Mission
The purpose of the Information/Technology Program at the School District of Kohler is to assist in implementing, enriching and supporting the district curriculum and to provide adequate information/technology services for students, faculty, support staff and administration. The “Information Age” has created a need for new skills in technology and information processing. The School District of Kohler will incorporate information/technology skills as a tool for working and learning. It is the mission of the Information/Technology program to insure that all students and staff develop skills to become problem solvers, information seekers, effective communicators and life-long learners in an information-driven, global society. The Information/Technology Curriculum will help prepare students in the School District of Kohler to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to be collaborative workers, community participants, and ethical technology users.
