Community Input Session Update
October, 2010
Introduction
This report is accompanied by a community presentation and input session which took place on October 26, 2010. In an effort to engage, communicate and receive input from the community, we are reviewing our efforts from June to October 2010 and seeking input in three specific areas: Honoring and Valuing Student Effort and Achievement (e.g. publication of honor roll, acknowledgement of student improvement); Developing a Vision of Future Education, and Using Technology in New Ways to Support Learning.
The Kohler School Board and Superintendent are committed to continuing the excellent academic outcomes of Kohler Schools and working to evolve our school system to prepare all students with the skills needed in the future. This report and the activities detail the progress. This report and presentation communicate the Board’s efforts with the public, share the Board’s expectations of the administration, and engage the community in a continuing dialogue about how Kohler Public Schools evolve to meet the needs of the future.
